HOW IT ALL BEGAN

I am fortunate to have had this passion for horses my entire life.  My earliest memories surrounding horses involve my father taking me on an annual trip to the US Equestrian Team training headquarters in Gladstone, not far from my hometown in New Jersey. I could not have been more than three or four years old; from there it progressed to riding lessons every summer, and then eventually to owning a horse of my own. In college, I joined the equestrian team at Rutgers University, while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science. It consumed all of me, and I loved it. Once grown, I couldn't wait to share this love with my family.  Starting with a pony, who just may have been THE best pony to introduce my children into the world of horses, it lit a spark in them that has allowed me to continue this passion throughout my life.  Over the past 20 years there have been lessons and shows and 4-H events, trails and clinics and barn parties, everyday stall cleaning and horse care, miles and miles driven with a horse trailer in tow, several horses becoming part of our family over the years, and so many lessons learned and love shared. As our children have grown, and my husband and I have decided to build a farm to dedicate as our forever home; I feel that there is still more that I would like to do surrounding this love of horses.  I would love to share our beautiful farm and the knowledge that I have gained over the years with the horse community.  I would like to develop a place where horse enthusiasts can come and learn about horses, how to ride, and share enthusiasm and company.  Young or old, this will be a place that you can come and nurture your passion of horses among friends.
